Every app on Teacher Hive has an Info page at /info/{slug}. This is the public face of the app: title, description, and who added it.
What you'll find
- App icon and name, plus the author's name. If the author's profile is public, it is linked.
- Description, a short summary and a longer write-up from the teacher who built it.
- Date, the day the app was last updated.
- Views, the number of total launches of the app. Pro users can click the Views to open the Stats page for the app.
- QR code, shows the app's URL and a QR code.
- Launch button, opens the app in a new tab.
- Visit button, opens the external link in a new tab.
- Bookmark icon, save the app to a list of yours. Only users who are logged in can bookmark.
- Target audience, who the app is designed for.
- Additional details, more information from the app's author.
- Tags, user-entered keywords. Click a tag to see other apps with the same tag.
- Report this app, opens a form users can submit to let Teacher Hive know something is not quite right with the app.
- Comments, ask the author questions or share what worked.
Sharing the Info page
The Info page is meant for educators to learn about the app. It explains what the app does without launching it. The Launch URL (apphive.us/{slug}) is the one to give students or guest.

The background color of an app's info page is generated from the colors in the app's icon.
