Every app on Teacher Hive has a Launch button. Launch buttons are large brown hexagons or buttons labeled Launch. Click a Launch button to open the app in a new tab.
Where you'll see Launch
- App cards, the brown hexagon in the bottom-right corner of any card. Visible on the home page, in collections, on your dashboard, on teacher profiles, and in search results.
- Info pages, the larger Launch button in the right column.
- External apps, the button is labeled Visit instead of Launch. These apps are not hosted by Teacher Hive; clicking Visit forwards you to the external website. External apps may be hosted on domains blocked at school.
What launching does
Launching opens the app at apphive.us/{slug} in a new tab. There's no login required for students. You can share the same link with a class, a parent, a colleague, or paste it into your LMS.
