Found an app you love? Let the teacher know with a like. Tap the heart on any app card or Info page to show your appreciation, and the teacher who built it will see that you enjoyed their work.
A like is the friendly, public cousin of a bookmark. A bookmark quietly saves an app to your own lists. A like is a little heart the whole community can see, and it tells the creator "this one's great." Changed your mind? Tap the heart again to take it back.
Liking and your profile
A like shares your name with the creator, so you'll need a public profile with a display name before you can leave one. Tap a heart before that's set up and Teacher Hive will point you to the right place.
Who sees what
The number of likes on an app is public, so teachers can spot the apps their colleagues are loving. The creator also gets a note in their notification bell letting them know you liked it. Teachers who aren't signed in can still see the counts, and they'll be invited to sign in when they tap a heart.
A little extra reach
Likes do more than say thank you. Apps that teachers love rise a bit higher in Trending and in search, so a heart helps a great app find its way into more classrooms.
