The Buzz is the public activity feed of Teacher Hive. Open it from The Buzz button in the site header. It is organized into three tabs.
Posts
Announcements, tips, and highlights from Tony Vincent. This is the tab that opens first.
Community
Ideas and questions from other teachers. Teachers with Builder or Pro status can start a post here and comment. Anyone signed in can read along.
New Apps
Just Landed and Freshly Updated posts that highlight recently added and updated apps. When you are signed in, this tab also includes new apps from teachers you follow.
Starting a post
On the Community tab, use the box at the top ("What's on your mind?") to start a post. Builder or Pro status is required to post.
Commenting
Teachers with Builder or Pro status can comment on a Buzz post. Click Add a Comment to view and add comments.
Notifications
When someone replies to your comment, your notification bell shows a count and a preview. Click the item in the bell menu to jump straight to the comment.
Weekly Buzz emails
Unread items from The Buzz are emailed to you once a week. Opt out using the link at the bottom of the email, or by turning off Email in My Settings.
