The Buzz is the public activity feed of Teacher Hive. Find it by click The Buzz button in the site header. It mixes admin posts with automated updates from the community.
What you'll see
- Teacher Hive posts, announcements, tips, and highlights from Tony Vincent.
- Teacher posts, ideas and questions from other teachers
- Just Landed, posts highlighting newly added apps.
- Freshly Updated, posts highlighting newly updated apps.
Posting and commenting
Teacher with Builder and Pro status can comment on The Buzz posts. Click Add a Comment on a Buzz post to view and add comments. Just Landed and Freshly Updated posts don't accept comments. If you want to reply to those, leave a comment on the app's Info page instead.
Notifications
When someone replies to your comment or mentions you, you'll see a purple dot next to your profile picture in the site header. Open The Buzz and click the Comments tab to see comments and replies directed at you or your apps.
Weekly Buzz Emails
Unread items in your Buzz feed are emailed to you once a week. You can opt out of these emails by clicking the link at the bottom of the email or by turning off Email Notifications in My Settings.
