Techie Teacher

I'm a K–6 technology and STEM educator with 25 years of teaching experience and an endless enthusiasm for helping students discover what they can create! I currently teach at Galveston Elementary, a Title I school in Chandler, Arizona, where my classroom, the ROAR Lab, encourages students to **Read, Observe, Apply, and Reimagine**. My teaching journey began in the elementary classroom and evolved into a passion for robotics, coding, engineering, digital design, multimedia production, and emerging technologies. From LEGO robotics and Sphero to Minecraft Education, Tinkercad, Glowforge, and artificial intelligence, I love finding creative ways to make technology meaningful, accessible, and FUN! I believe the best learning happens when students are encouraged to be curious.
