Vic Chamness

Vic Chamness, Ed.D., is the Director of Artificial Intelligence and Instructional Technology for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC). A lifelong educator, he spent over 30 years in science education and leadership at EVSC. After working at Ivy Tech Community College in career development and educational technology (2020–2025), he returned to EVSC to lead districtwide AI integration. Vic holds certifications in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science, alongside an Ed.S., Superintendent’s License, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. His career also includes teaching at Ivy Tech, USI, Oakland City University, and the University of Evansville, as well as serving on local and state education boards.
