Crystal Burns

I hold an undergraduate degree in Elementary and Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies and earned my master’s degree in Educational Technology in the spring of 2020. Currently, I teach sixth-grade science at Mattanawcook Junior High School. Before this, I spent five years teaching math and science, plus four years teaching sixth-grade English Language Arts and Social Studies. In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I facilitate the school’s coding club and support students as they participate in two robotics competitions each year. I also provide technology-based professional development for staff throughout the district, helping educators integrate digital tools into their teaching.
