How the party works

• The teacher inputs the first line and reads it out to the class.
• Students join by following the link to your copy of the app.
• Students are assigned randomized nicknames.
• Everybody writes one sentence and sends it in. That is the potluck part.
• You read what came in, pick your favorite, and it joins the story for good.

Good to know

• Students can see the current version of the story on their screens.
• Click any sentence in the finished story to see the author's nickname.
• The story saves itself when you end the party, so you can read it again later.
• Very low prep activity. Great for a writing warm up!
